How the seal works

A SHA-256 fingerprint can identify the exact bytes of an issued PDF. Altering a number or name changes that fingerprint. Certificate verification requires access to the issuing lab's records, which are not connected on this preview.

What a failed lookup means

Do not treat an unavailable lookup as confirmation or rejection of a certificate. Contact the issuing laboratory directly to confirm its authenticity.
